Special Service Area #31 – Servicing areas on Clark, Damen, Lawrence, Montrose, Wilson and along the Ravenswood corridor. Awakenings will host Open Studio hours during RAW and warmly welcomes all who support their mission to provide survivors of sexual violence with free, inclusive art-making experiences that foster healing. No prior art experience or professional background is necessary—everyone is invited to create. Guests are encouraged to bring their own projects or explore the variety of art supplies available in the studio. Creative prompts will be offered to help spark inspiration, and visitors will also have the opportunity to view powerful artwork created by survivors displayed throughout the space.
