Stephanie Rohr is the designer, artist, and author behind stephXstitch. She has been cross-stitching since she was a child, and started designing her own work in 2010. She prides herself in creating handmade art that is bright, beautiful, and surprising. Her work is humorous and subversive, using the traditional “women’s work” craft of cross-stitch to create art that juxtaposes traditional stitching with modern, political, and feminist themes. She is also the author of “Feminist Cross-Stitch” and “Self-Care Cross-Stitch”.
