Ravenswood’s small businesses are working hard to bring you their tastiest samples yet. We’re talking appetizers, desserts, and drinks designed to transport you to a place where your taste buds become your best buds. While you sample these treats, you’ll stroll between groovy shops and restaurants along Montrose Ave, surrounded by friends, neighbors, and the first green glimmers of spring.
2026 Stops Along Montrose Ave
2026 Popping Up at the Munch March

The Munch March is a unique opportunity to sample a variety of our neighborhood’s flavors and menu items in one evening. It’s also a fun way to explore and support the vibrant mix restaurants, taverns, and shops along Montrose Avenue. Check in at the kickoff location in front of BienMeSabe (1635 W Montrose Ave) to get wristbands, punch cards, and event maps. Then, everyone is off to sample some snacks and check out some cool local businesses!
Last year’s event sold out, so we recommend claiming your spot early. Tickets include 14+ tasting-sized portions of appetizers, beverages, and desserts, plus an extra-special tote loaded with goodies from our friends.
2026 Live Performances & Activities

Stop by the Montrose & Winchester People Space to enjoy a performance by Full Spectrum Bluegrass! Their debut EP Homesick showcases the driving rhythm of classic artists like Earl Scruggs and JD Crowe, with original songwriting that explores the modern queer, trans, and urban experience.
Commemorate your time at the Munch March at the Terrible Portraits pop-up with local artist Jacob Ryan Reno! Get your very own terrible masterpiece in five terrific minutes for five regular dollars.
