During this webinar, you’ll hear from a fellow restaurant on how they eliminated single-use plastic and saw significant cost savings, learn about funding opportunities with Plastic Free Restaurants, get access to helpful toolkits and resources, and you’ll have the opportunity to join recognition programs to showcase your sustainability initiatives. The presenters will also cover the latest plastic reduction legislation in Illinois and address how you can take action.
The training will include an appearance by funder John Charles Meyer, who will discuss his grant program, Plastic Free Restaurants, which provides subsidies for switching to reusable products. You’ll also hear from a restaurant owner and Surfrider ambassador who will share insight about their transition to sustainable solutions.
